Notes
- The party heard the faint cry of a child as they rode into the silent village, and wondered whether it might be a false cry from a wolf with too many knees. It was not
- Cuthbert picked the child up. Ms March gave them one of Dan Randy's pizzellis
- The child said that their mother is sick. This led Doctor Webb into the house, where he found the woman in the bed
- The house the child was standing outside had its windows boarded up, and a wheelbarrow and metal equipment propped against the entrances
Open Thread
The child is now with the party, and their mother is in the state Doctor Webb has just walked in on. What happens to them?
